Grand Valley Gravity Sanitary Sewer Interceptor

LOCATION:  Springdale, Arkansas

Crafton Tull prepared plans and specifications for 8,126’ of 18” to 21” gravity sanitary sewer interceptor running from Habberton Road to Butterfield Coach Road in Springdale. The proposed interceptor was sized to handle the anticipated flow from approximately 1,963 acres in the East Clear Creek drainage basin. A temporary pump station designed to handle approximately 1,200 GPM will be located just west of Butterfield Coach Road. Provisions were made for a permanent pump station to be designed and constructed on the same site, which would handle approximately 4,900 GPM. Plans and specifications for 7,706’ of parallel 12” forcemains from the temporary pump station on Butterfield Coach Road to the existing Clear Creek pump station located just east of State Highway 265 were also prepared.
