Damascus Resource Operations Center

LOCATION:  Damascus, Arkansas

The Damascus Resource Operations Center is owned and operated by a client in support of their operations in the Fayetteville Shale Natural Gas Play. The facility is located two miles northeast of the town of Damascus Arkansas and is currently operational with major improvements and expansions planned for the next two years. Crafton Tull is providing survey, planning, architectural and engineering services for the expansion project. The process has included the completion of a topographical survey of the existing site, and an extensive inventory and utilization study of the existing facilities. The data from this study was then used along with growth projections to develop a master site plan and conceptual plans for various office and maintenance structures. When complete, the total complex will encompass 230 acres consisting of equipment storage yards, vehicle maintenance facilities, equipment fabrication and maintenance facilities, an office building, pipe testing facilities, a water lab facility and a residential dorm to house workers employed by Southwestern Energy. In addition to planning, architectural and engineering services, will be providing construction administration services for the construction phase of the project.
