The existing bridge in Okfuskee County was load posted and too narrow for current traffic; it needed to be replaced. Crafton Tull was hired to provide bridge design, hydraulic design and roadway design. In June 2006, Crafton Tull began the design process for the new, two-lane structure. Services included detailed construction plans and specifications for demolition and reconstruction of the proposed bridge. The design was expedited and completed in seven months. Construction was completed in 2008.
