LOCATION:  Springdale, Arkansas

Crafton Tull was hired by Springdale to help alleviate downtown traffic congestion. In designing the Huntsville Ave / Butterfield Coach Road route, a three-mile east-west arterial roadway that connected I-540 to U.S. Highway 412, we were able to provide a solution that addressed the City’s needs. Services included topographic and boundary surveys, preparation of easement and right-of-way documents, design and preparation of construction plans and specifications, bid administration, and construction observation services. Crafton Tull coordinated the design and construction of this project with multiple franchise utilities requiring relocation within the project area as well as two other major street widening projects, the Monitor Road improvements and the widening of additional portions of Butterfield Coach Road south of U.S. Highway 412, as they crossed and connected to this project.
