NE 23rd Street

NE 23rd Street

LOCATION:  Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Phase 2 of the NE 23rd Street Revitalization consisted of street improvement and widening of a one-mile section of 23rd Street and the replacement of 1/2 mile of existing small waterlines with 12” waterline. The intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and NE 23rd Street now has new signalization, a civil rights monument and a park. Two additional intersections have been accented with brick pavers, crosswalks and landscape improvements. Crafton Tull provided the civil engineering and surveying services for the two-mile corridor study completed in 2002. In addition, we were the design phase project manager for one mile of the corridor, which included roadway widening/reconstruction, streetscape, lighting, traffic signals and utility relocations.
