SW 149th and Pennsylvania Avenue

LOCATION:  Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Crafton Tull was contracted by the City of Oklahoma City to perform civil design for the roadway realignment, survey and construction services on the intersection at SW 149th and Pennsylvania Avenue. The previous configuration of this intersection created chronic problems with upstream flooding and traffic accidents. Our firm provided the civil design that resulted in replacing the concrete box culvert with a larger structure, relocating the existing drainage channel to eliminate upstream flooding, relocating the existing sanitary sewer, and realigning both east-west and north-south roads in order to eliminate the hazardous bend in the road.
