LOCATION: Bentonville, Arkansas
As a rural, two-lane, collector street, Moberly Lane served the public for many years as the only north-south street in the vicinity. With S.E. āJā at 4,000 feet to the west in Bentonville and North 24th Street at 9,300 feet to the east in Rogers, Moberly Lane remains a vital link for north/south traffic from both cities. The traffic growth due to new developments caused the City of Bentonville to look at improvements to Moberly Lane. Services included topographic and boundary surveys, preparation of right-of-way and easement documents, design and preparation of construction plans and specifications, and construction observation services. The project consisted of asphalt paving with curb & gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, waterline, and wastewater line improvements. A traffic signal was also included in the design for the S.E. 28th Street intersection.
